DGDA would like to clarify that certain information being shared on social media platforms pertaining to the land acquisition initiative for land falling within the Diriyah project perimeter is incorrect and misrepresentative of the current status of the initiative. DGDA is following the government approved and endorsed plan in this regard and is working to ensure the best possible outcome for all residents affected by any of the Diriyah masterplans. Furthermore, DGDA is working to ensure that residents’ rights are maintained and that they are kept aware of the latest updates through direct communications. The DGDA team would like to emphasize the importance of ensuring that information regarding this matter is received from authorized and official sources to avoid confusion.

Our Leadership Team

Jerry Inzerillo is regarded as one of the world’s great hospitality visionaries. As Group Chief Executive Officer of DGDA, he is responsible for all the work undertaken by the Authority and it’s management.

Prior to joining DGDA, Jerry was the CEO of Forbes Travel Guide, where successfully expanded the company’s footprint to over 100 countries. He was also one of the key figures behind organizations such as One&Only Resorts, Ian Schrager Hotels, Four Seasons and Hilton Hotels, and served as President of Kerzner Entertainment Group overseeing tourist destinations and properties in South Africa, the Bahamas, Dubai, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, and the Maldives, as well as CEO of IMG Artists.

In 2021, Jerry was awarded one of the tourism and hospitality industry’s greatest accolades - Corporate Hotelier of the World - by HOTELS magazine.

Faisal brings 30 years of Strategic Corporate and Financial Management experience to his position as GCOO for DGDA, where he is responsible for setting the strategic direction for managing the overall operations of DGDA, contributing significantly to delivery of DGDA’s strategic mandate of “One Diriyah”.
 
Prior to his current role, Faisal held the position of Chief Financial Officer at DGDA, during which time he implemented robust and dynamic financial practices and reporting which became the backbone of DGDA’s governance structure.
 
During his career, he has held numerous other senior leadership roles, including Group CFO of Emaar, one of Saudi Arabia’s top publicly listed real estate companies. He used his extensive experience and understanding to expedite the development trajectory, resulting in the development of King Abdullah Port, Royal Greens Golf Course and a significant residential footprint. He was also key to the formation of multiple subsidiaries and introducing a holding structure, securing multi-billion riyal funding and structuring a project financing deal for King Abdullah Port. 
 
Faisal graduated from the University of California and attended several executive education programs at Harvard University, Stanford University, and the New York Institute of Finance.

He is responsible for strategic planning and overseeing the finance function for the entire Authority, including developing and managing the Authority’s financial planning and budgets, ensuring fiscal governance, driving statutory financial compliance, introducing spending efficiencies, supporting business growth, and ensuring that adequate internal controls are in place.

Ahmed started his career in banking and investment at Saudi Hollandi Capital and SAMBA Financial Group. Ahmed was also a founding member of a multi-billion PPP transaction. His role was essential in successfully planning, executing, implementing, delivering, and monitoring the project with his team.

Ahmed graduated from Prince Sultan University, where he won the 2010 KPMG competitive award for the best feasibility study.

Mohamed has 20 years’ experience running major retail-focused infrastructure projects across the Middle East. Over the course of his two-decade career, he has been responsible for some of the region’s most innovative retail, residential and interiors companies. In 2019, Mohamed held positions as Development Director of the Mall of Oman and Development Director of the City Center Almaza, Egypt, for Majid Al Futtaim Properties. Prior to that he was General Manager for Living in Interiors, based in Cairo, where he led the transformation of a family-owned business into a corporate enterprise. Mohamed also has professional experience working as a structural design engineer and head of business development for a portfolio of Dubai and Egypt based companies.

Mohamed holds a BSc in Civil & Structural Engineering from Cairo University and a PMP certification. He is fluent in both Arabic and English.

Kiran currently holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer for DGDA and is responsible for re-establishing Diriyah’s position within the Kingdom and globally as not just as the birthplace of the Kingdom, but also as a centre for the preservation of heritage and perpetuator of Saudi culture and heritage. This pedestrian and urban city, anchored on the UNESCO World Heritage site of At-Turaif, will play a significant role in redefining Saudi Arabia as a destination.
 
Prior to joining DGDA, Kiran’s career spanned multiple continents, where he played a key role in reinventing two of the world’s most powerful luxury brands in both the luxury yachting and luxury automotive spheres. He has established and branded progressive media platforms in the Middle East; authored two children’s story books; toured the world as an acclaimed musician and composer - and has been recognized as an influential and powerful public speaker with a creatively disruptive and strategic mind. The Australian, Perth-born, nomad studied Marine Biology and graduated in Engineering Technology from Deakin University before pursuing his Masters in Guitar from Berklee (Boston), and has lived, studied and worked across South and Central Asia, the Middle East, Central Europe, and the United Kingdom, with his wife, 2 children and 17-year-old cat.

Osama has been the CAO of DGDA since April 2020. He has 23 years’ experience in internal auditing and finance gained by helping to establish the Internal Audit Divisions across five of the Kingdom’s top banks, listed companies and Giga-projects under the umbrella of Saudi Vision 2030.
 
Prior to joining DGDA, he served as the Assistant General Manager of the Saudi Chemical Group with its 5 subsidiaries as well as its Group CAO and the General Secretary of the Board Audit Committee. He was also the CAO and the General Secretary of the Board Audit Committee in two of the Kingdom’s top insurance companies: Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Co. (SAICO), and the Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co.
 
He has 14 years of banking industry as Kingdom-wide Retail Banking Audit Manager at Bank Albilad, and Senior Audit team leader of Arab National Bank (ANB) and Riyad Bank.
 
Osama holds a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration from King Abdul Aziz University and graduated from a Banking and Business Program at a leading Business School in the UK. Moreover, Osama has obtained 40 Internal Audit certificates from Global Internal Audit institutes such as the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) in the US, MIS London, IIR Dubai, Moody’s Corporation, KPMG, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

As Chief of Heritage and Culture, Adam uses his expertise to ensure that there is an integrated approach to the management of the cultural heritage in Diriyah.

Before joining DGDA, Adam was the Director of Edinburgh World Heritage in Scotland where he managed the restoration and repairs of buildings, interpreting the world heritage site and building capacity. He is renowned for ensuring that community engagement is a core element of heritage plans.

Adam earned a Master of Science in Historic Conservation from Oxford Brookes University and a Master of Arts in Medieval History and Russian Language from the University of St. Andrews.

Ahmad previously worked with Saudi Aramco, within the core leadership team of King Abdullah Financial District, as Director General of Real Estate and Municipal Affairs in the Economic Cities & Special Zones Authority, delivering the King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh and Knowledge Economic City in Madinah.
 
Ahmad has a master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Melbourne, Australia and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, in addition to several leadership and executive training and development programs.
