Our Leadership Team

Jerry Inzerillo is regarded as one of the world’s great hospitality visionaries. As the Chief Executive Officer of Diriyah Gate Development Authority, he is responsible for all the work that Diriyah Gate Development Authority does and how it’s managed.

Before joining DGDA, Jerry was the CEO of Forbes Travel Guide, where he took charge of the company’s expansion to over 100 countries. He has also been one of the key figures behind such organizations as One&Only Resorts, Ian Schrager Hotels, Four Seasons and Hilton Hotels. He also served as President of Kerzner Entertainment Group overseeing tourist destinations and properties in South Africa, the Bahamas, Dubai, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, and the Maldives.

Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada.

Faisal Faruqi brings 24 years of Strategic Corporate and Financial Management experience to his position as Chief Operating Officer for Diriyah Gate Development Authority. As Chief Operating Officer, Faisal sets the strategic direction for managing overall operations of DGDA and contributes intensively to deliver on DGDA’s strategic mandate of “One Diriyah”.
 
Before taking on the position as COO, Faisal was the Chief Financial Officer at Diriyah Gate Development Authority. As CFO, he implemented robust and dynamic financial practices and reporting which became the backbone of DGDA’s governance structure.
 
Faisal was the Group CFO of Emaar, The Economic City, one of Saudi Arabia’s top real estate public listed companies. He used his extensive experience and understanding to expedite the development trajectory, which resulted in the development of Royal Greens Golf Course, King Abdullah Port and a significant residential footprint.
 
Faisal graduated from the University of California and attended several executive education programs at Harvard, Stanford, and the New York Institute of Finance.

Jonathan Timms is a global property business leader specializing in multifaceted mixed-use developments. An Australian national with over 30 years’ experience across APAC and the GCC, Jonathan currently leads a SAR 150 billion design and development pipeline for Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA). This includes Diriyah Gate, poised to become the world’s largest cultural and heritage development.

A track record of successful multi-asset class developments, Jonathan has delivered multiple projects across shopping malls, residential and leisure offerings as Head of Development for Majid Al Futtaim. Earlier, Jonathan led Vicinity Centres in Australia to successfully develop and manage an asset portfolio and mixed-use development pipeline of USD 20 billion. Furthermore, he led Tesco property China in the design and delivery of circa 30 mixed-use projects including over 30,000 residential units.

Jonathan has in-depth expertise of master planning, design and development, enabling him to lead and deliver on major complex mixed-used developments of the highest standard.

As the Chief of Marketing & Communications, Danielle Ainslie is responsible for making sure that we present Diriyah Gate Development Authority and the communities it serves to the world in the best way.

Before joining Diriyah Gate Development Authority, Danielle was Kodak’s chief brand and marketing officer and was also a senior director at Beats by Dre, Nokia, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Innovision.

Danielle earned her bachelor of arts in History of Art and Medieval Archaeology from University College London.

As the Chief of Legal, Ghassan Shawli looks after all the legal matters at Diriyah Gate Development Authority.

Before joining Diriyah Gate Development Authority, Ghassan was the Chief Legal Counsel and board secretariat for all Saudi Aramco’s affairs in the Asia-Pacific region. He also served as the General Counsel and VP of legal affairs for the Saudi Arabia Airlines Corporation and brings over 20 years of experience.

Shawli earned his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama and completed Law school at Lewis & Clark Law School.

Talal Kensara ensures that the strategic objectives and delivered according to plans.

Before joining DGDA, Talal was the Vice Deputy Minister for Shared Services at the Ministry of Economy and Planning. He was also the VP of Projects & Development at Waad Holding Company in Jeddah. He has over 16 years of experience in strategy and business development.

Talal earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

As the Chief Operations Officer, Elias Zraicat oversees the day-to-day operational functions of ongoing projects.

Before joining DGDA, Elias managed projects in industries such as civil, industrial, oil and gas, building, marine projects and telecommunications.  He brings with him over 30 years of experience from various countries including Australia, Hong Kong, UAE and Jordan.

Elias is a graduate in Civil Engineering from California State University, a current member of the Institute of Engineers in Australia and holds a Green Star Accreditation from the Green Building Council of Australia.

As the Chief of Land & Municipal Affairs, Adim Alsharif is responsible for the land registry system at DGDA.
 
Alsharif brings in the substantial experience of 19+ years from diversified roles and industries. He gained experiences in the fields of executive affairs, strategic partnerships, strategic planning & execution, operations & maintenance, project management, industrial sales, technical support services, training & development and electrical network planning & augmentation. 

As the Chief of Heritage, Adam Wilkinson uses his expertise to ensure that there is an integrated approach to the management of the cultural heritage in Diriyah.

Before joining DGDA, Adam was the Director of Edinburgh World Heritage in Scotland. He managed the restoration and repairs of buildings, interpreting the world heritage site and building capacity. He is renowned for ensuring that community engagement is part of heritage plans.

Adam earned a Master of Science in Historic Conservation from Oxford Brookes University and a Master of Arts in Mediaeval History and Russian Language from the University of St. Andrews.

As the Chief of Shared Services Officer, Abdullah Al-Ghanim manages service initiatives related to the people, products and processes in the business.

Before joining DGDA, Abdullah was VP of Shared Services & Business for Saudi Railway company and the Chief Information Officer for NAS holding company. He has over 20 years of experience and is an expert in strategic and business planning.
